Stasyn: On Tuesday, February 15, 2011 Anita Rosella Stasyn of Nelson passed away at the age of 83 years. She was born on October 13, 1927 in Ymir, BC to Hubert and Mildred Perkins. Anita worked for many years for the BC Government. She loved to collect stamps, do ceramics and travelling to Hawaii. Anita was predeceased by her husband Stanley. She will be lovingly remembered by her son Martin (Kathy), 2 grandchildren Sandra and Michael, sister in law Alice Salakin, several nieces and nephews.
A Graveside Service will be held on Monday, February 21, 2011 at 11:00 AM at the Nelson Memorial Park Cemetery with Rev. Ken Keber officiating. As an expression of sympathy family and friends may make donations to the Alzheimer Society of BC, 809 Davies Street, Nelson, BC. V1L 3T6.
