Mike M. Shkuratoff of Winlaw, BC, quietly passed away surrounded by loved ones, on August 5, 2023, at the age of 95.
Mike is survived by his wife, Dorothy, and sons Larry (Lorraine), daughter-in-law Nettie, Allan (Evelyn), and Harvey (Diane).
10 grandchildren, Rob (Wendy), Shelley (Steve), Holly, Chad (Rachel), Britt (Shaynne), Aaron, Zack (Cassidy) Kevin, Alexander (Sandy), and Anna.
9 great grandchildren, Trent, Samantha, Colton, Kody, Connor, Alexa, Liviana, Owen and Ember, and many other nieces and nephews.
Mike was predeceased by his father Mike (1957), mother Nada (1992), son Mickey (January 2017), sister Molly Soukeroff (June 2013), and brother Alec Shkuratoff (November 2013), grandson Jim Drapaka (July 2004)
On April 22, 1951, Mike married Dorothy Kabatoff, and lived in their current Winlaw home, for 57 years.
He owned a logging company, Anderson & Shkuratoff Logging. He also had an interest in prospecting and acquired mineral claims in the Springer Creek area.
Arrangements and the funeral service was held at Thompson Funeral Service, and internment at the Perry Siding Cemetery.
