Lewis, John Elmer

We are sad to announce the passing of John Elmer Lewis, age 77 years. John passed away at home on March 15, 2024 after a year long battle with cancer. He was born on January 9, 1947 in Bathhurst, NB to Josephine and Foster Lewis. Left with many fond memories are his wife Theresa, children Darren, Shannon, Paula, Laurie, Leanne and Bobby, many grandkids and great grandkids. He is predeceased by both of his parents. This hard working man worked and retired from the Railway Association Canada to Slocan Valley to enjoy the quiet nature of country life. He loved to ride his Harley Davidson motorcycle and travelled many miles. He’s on his final journey at peace with no pain.
A celebration of life campfire will be held at his home on Saturday, June 22.
