With broken hearts we announce the passing of our beloved son, loving father, fun loving brother, and devoted life partner, William James Haithwaite 1974 – 2023.
Will is predeceased by his grandparents Yuna and Charlie Duncan, and RJ Haithwaite & Jean Hunt, uncles Mark Haithwaite, and Bill Reimche. He leaves to mourn the love of his life Anja Wilke, his parents Glen and Barb Haithwaite, brother Dave (Heather), daughter Merry (Duncan) Lindsay, son Keenan (Georgie) Haithwaite, great aunts Mary Stewart and Ina Frasch, aunts Donna (Roger) Mayer, and Gail Reimche , nephew Dexter, niece Dahlia , cousins Katie and James, and Kari and Craig.
Will was loved by all. The sparkle in his eyes and his incredible smile just made us love him more. His passion was being a tattoo artist. He loved art, playing guitar, and cooking for those he loved, and he loved his little kitty Beans. He was always up for a new adventure. While in high school at Keremeos Secondary, Will created the mascot Sparky, which is still proudly displayed on the gym walls and uniforms today.
He is forever in our hearts. Grief, it is the price we pay for love.
