NOTICE OF PASSING
GRACE ELSIE POOLE (MCCUAIG)

Poole: Grace was born September 22, 1911 on Houston St., Nelson, BC. Married to Walter Poole (Predeceased November 6, 1984). She resided in Trail until their retirement. Grace was an active member of the Trail Little Theatre, she loved singing and theatre. She played a small part in the movies Roxanne and Silver Cedars. Grace was past President of Trail Fraternal Order of Eagles. In Nelson she loved to bowl, winning numerous awards and was very involved in Broader Horizons and Nelson Eagles.
She spent the last 11 years at Jubilee Manor where she spent much of her time singing and enjoyed outings, always sharing a smile and a wink. She passed suddenly away on August 3, 2011. She was predeceased by her son Richard and Granddaughter Lori. She will be missed and remembered by her daughters, grandchildren, great grandchildren, great great grandchildren and their families.
No service by request of the family. In lieu of flowers, donations to Jubilee Manor Resident Comfort Fund would be appreciated by the family.
