Chapman, James (Jim, Jimmy) Dennis

James (Jim, Jimmy) Dennis Chapman (69) passed away after a short battle with lung cancer on June 29, 2023.
Jim was born on January 5th, 1954, to Kathrine and James Chapman in Calgary, Alberta.
Jimmy was strong willed and stubborn at times, but he also had an enormous heart and wonderful sense of humour. He was generous, loyal, and brave. He was clever and filled with knowledge gained through all his varied life experiences: firefighter, hunter, fisherman, golfer, and contractor – he could fix or build anything.
Jim was preceded in death by both of his parents and sister, Donna Zedic. He is survived by his children: Matthew Chapman, Jay Chapman, Colin Chapman; his grandchildren: Ashley, Montye, Jaxton, Warrick & Leo; and his siblings, Richard Chapman, and Sue Chapman.
He will be remembered for all the wisdom and love he shared with his friends and family. He will be missed dearly.
In lieu of flowers the family suggests a donation can be made to The Calgary Humane Society in Jim’s memory.
