Anne Marcia Kennedy

It is with great sadness that we announce the passing away of Anne Marcia Kennedy on Monday, April 18, 2011 at the age of 83 years Anne was born in Taghum, B.C. on May 15, 1927 to Mike and Annie Masloff.
As a young girl Ann worked for C.P.R. and the Nelson Theatre. She moved to Vancouver where she operated a restaurant for a few years. She then moved to Ocean Falls where she worked at the airport and as an assistant government game guide. Anne moved back to Nelson in the 1970’s.
She loved cooking, hockey, flowers and especially music. She was a past member of the Legion. Anne is survived by her Daughter Cathryn (Pageot) and her husband Alan Zinkgraf, four grandchildren Tracey (Leland) Ehrenfried, Kimberly (Jeffrey) Everhart, Michael Zinkgraf, Melissa Zinkgraf, five great grandchildren, Shelby Herrmann, Joseph Brown, Matthew Zinkgraf, Makayla Everhart, Lena Ehrenfried, two sisters Frances Becker, and Florence Thompson, three nieces and two nephews and grand nieces and nephews, along with many close friends especially Maureen Bullock.
Anne was predeceased by her parents, and a brother Michael Maxwell (Masloff) A Celebration of Anne’s life will be held on Friday, April 29, 2011 at 2:00 PM from Mountain Lake Seniors Community (Park Lodge)with Rev. arcella Mugford as officiant. Cremation has taken place.
Funeral arrangements are under the direction of Thompson Funeral Service Ltd.
