Albert George Edwards
Having lived a beautiful life, Albert George Edwards of Kaslo, BC left us on June 18, 2012 in his 91styear. Born in Cluny, Alberta, Albert farmed with his father until he moved to Kaslo in 1947. He worked in the mining industry and in highway maintenance as a labourer, carpenter and machine operator. Albert’s love of family and friends was always evident whether he was playing cards, camping, fishing, gardening, fixing or building something new and precious. He will be sadly missed by his loving wife Irene of 62 years, children Don (Wendy) Edwards, Glenn (Marie) Edwards, Joy (Howard) Fletcher, Leah (Roy) Honkanen, Connie (Jeff) Hum, 10 grandchildren, 7 great grandchildren and sister Grace (John) Bell. A Celebration of Life will be held 2:00 pm, Friday, June 22, 2012 at the Kaslo Legion Hall. As an expression of sympathy, donations in Albert’s memory to the Victorian Hospital of Kaslo Auxiliary Society, Box 607, Kaslo, BC V0G 1M0.
