Nelson Italian-Canadian Society donates special treats for a special dinner

The Nelson Italian-Canadian Society stopped by Our Daily Bread recently to drop off some donations of Pizzelle cookies and other sumptuous baked goods.
This is the second year the NICS has donated several dozen of the tasty Italian wafer cookies for patrons of Our Daily Bread to enjoy following their meal.
In addition to the baked goods, the Nelson Italian-Canadian Society also donated surplus fruit and vegetables from their recent spaghetti sauce fundraiser and the NICS Christmas party.
Supporting groups like Our Daily Bread is an important part of the philosophy of the NICS. The NICS would like to thank all the people from the community who come and support the fundraising efforts which provide the resources to donate to local causes.
