Nelson Interfaith Collaborative hosts Earth Day Celebration

The Nelson Interfaith Collaborative is hosting a Songs for the Earth — An Earth Day Celebration Saturday at the Nelson United Church.
Local Choirs and Musical Ensembles along with a sing-along is being organized to celebrate Earth Day 2023.
The event, set to begin at 2 p.m., is being held at the Nelson United Church — the corner of Josephine and Silica Streets.
The event is open to the public.
Earth Day is held every year on April 22 and marks the anniversary of the birth of modern environmental movement in 1970.
Earth Day celebrations raise awareness of the need to protect the Earth’s natural resources for future generations.
