Some of the planes found a spot on the tarmac near the Nelson Airport.
The public looked high and low at the floatplanes.
Sunday was a travel day as most owners took to the skies for the long trek home.
There were a few vintage planes that made the trip to Nelson.
Public got a look-see at the helicopters fighting fires.
Plane lovers got a free show as helicopters fighting the Sitkum Creek Wildfire came and went during Sunday's pancake breakfast.
