Special Olympics BC Nelson hosts Registration Day

Special Olympics BC Nelson offers summer and winter sports, youth programs, and health and fitness programs.
Many athletes start in one sport, then go on to try others. Fall 2024 and Winter 2025 Sport Programs include but not limited to, swimming, bowling, floor hockey, and alpine skiing.
In person registration for athletes will be held September 29, 2024 at the Nelson Youth Centre, 608 Lake Street, Nelson BC, from 1-3 p.m.
Pizza will be served that day for our new and returning athletes.

Special Olympics — Nelson is seeking dynamic and passionate individuals to join our Community Executive Committee (CEC).
The role of CEC is to lead, support, coordinate, organize, and oversee Special Olympics sport programs, initiatives, and events within our community.
Anyone that is passionate about sports and inclusivity this is a fabulous opportunity for you to help make a difference in our community.
We are currently seeking individuals for Treasurer and Secretary.
