Nelsonites feast on Markets during Labour Day Weekend

Labour Day Weekend in Nelson was also Market Weekend as tourists and Nelsonites had plenty of opportunity to grab some great deals as events on Baker Street, Lakeside Park and Cottonwood Park.
The final MarketFest of the summer kicked off the weekend on Baker Street as vendors and deal seekers filled the 200 to 400 blocks of the downtown.
Cottonwood Market provided shoppers the usual items Saturday before the vendors took over Lakeside Park for a Sunday market.
All of this was, of course, happening during Nelson Pride weekend making Nelson the place to be for Labour Day Weekend.
Sunday the market shifted to Rotary Lakeside Park for the annual event.
Bikes were a popular form of transportation to Sunday’s Lakeside Market.
