Mallards Team of the Week — Nelson U17 Selects

The Nelson U17 Selects recently concluded an amazing youth soccer season, capturing a handful of tournaments including the BC Soccer Provincial B Cup in Kamloops.
The Selects, which lost only one game all season, captured tournaments in Nelson (Terry Walgren), Couer d’Alene, Idaho, Kootenay Rovers Classic in Cranbrook, the Little Bear Tournament in Revelstoke along with the provincial championship.
The team combined a front line and midfield that scored 86 goals with an amazing defence and goalie that allowed only six goals against.
Mallards Source for sports would like to salute the Nelson U17 Selects with Team of the Week honours.
The Selects include, coaches Mike Gerun and Tad Lake and players Nina Usher, Fiona Rooney-Frederick, Franny Byers-Bohigian, Molly Anderson, Teigan Ward, Sophie Veitch, Brooke Chernenko, Avery Drouin, Lily Bennett, Jordana Jones, Emma Wouters, Claire Christison, Freya Keyserlingk, Emma McLachlan, Kallie Badry and Paityn Lake.
