Free Workshop on Medicinal and Edible Invasive Plants in Creston

Rescheduled due to July’s heatwave, the Central Kootenay Invasive Species Society (CKISS) and Tilia Botanicals are excited to present a hands-on workshop on Thursday, September 5, 2024, from 6-8 p.m.

This free event will explore the benefits of medicinal and edible invasive plants while addressing their impact on native ecosystems.

The workshop will include plant identification, best management practices led by Laurie Frankcom from CKISS and practical applications led by Rachel Beck a medicinal herbalist from Tilia Botanicals. Space is limited; pre-registration is required at CKISS Events.
