All Candidate Forum scheduled for Nelson, October 3
Voters in Kootenay Central (formerly Nelson-Creston) get to hear provincial candidates’ on key issues at a public forum in Nelson on Thursday, October 3rd.
All the candidates— incumbent Brittny Anderson of the BC NDP, Nicole Charlwood of the Green Party, Independent candidate Corinne Mori and Creston’s Kelly Vandenbergh of BC Conservative Party, who recently announced his candidacy — have been invited.
The public forum will start at 7 p.m. at Nelson United Church 602 Silica Street.
Some of the topics include Climate, Forests and Fires and Environment.
Doors will open at 6:30 p.m. to allow time to write down questions for candidates.
The BC election is set for Saturday, October 19, 2024. Advance voting is scheduled for October 10-13 and 15-16, 2024.
The last day to request a vote-by-mail package online or by phone is October 13, 2024.
