Forty Words for Yes at The Graine

Forty Words for Yes, a 40-part choral work written by Doug Jamieson and recorded last year, will be presented on Sunday, September 1, 2024, at The Graine, thanks to a Neighbourhood Small Grant from the Osprey Foundation.
Forty Words for Yes was first premiered in June 2023.
A total of eight speaker stands in a circle for a unique surround sound experience with each of the eight speakers will play a recording of five singers.
The piece is 10 minutes long and the presentation will loop every 15 minutes.
Jamieson will be giving an introduction to the work at 3 p.m., at the beginning of the presentation.
Anyone can drop by any time during the two hours and stay as long as you like.
