The “Get Bold and Cold” event is a polar plunge into Kootenay Lake that supports Special Olympics in Nelson.

“We had a very good turn out this year and the weather worked in our favour,” said Nelson Special Olympics organizers.

“This years Polar Plunge was met with so much community support.  THANK YOU, our athletes are filled with gratitude.”
