Mallard's Team of the Week — LVR Junior Bombers Volleyball

The L.V. Rogers Junior Bombers captured the West Kootenay Girls Volleyball Championships with a thrilling victory over city-rival Trafalgar Saturday in Trail.
The Bombers defeated Trafalgar 25-23, 25-19 to clinch the best-of-three final in straight games.
LVR registered a terrific season on the hardwood traveling to Oliver, Cranbrook and a variety of local tournaments.
“This dedicated group of Gr.10’s showed tremendous growth since starting their season at the beginning of September,” said the LVR Athletic Department.
“With club volleyball on the horizon, this group of talented ladies will continue to pack the trophy case in the years to come.”
LVR Athletics would like to thank their amazing coaches Sara Smith and Emma Willow for volunteering their time, effort and expertise throughout the season.
Mallard’s Source for sports would like to salute the Junior Bombers as Team of the Week.
The team includes, Emma Willow, Stella Wilkey, Avery Kelly, Kara Strong, Kate Woodward, Jenna Smith, Katherine Naul, Cheyenne Levesque, Stella Pearl-Kutcher and Grace Steer.
