Bombers cruise to Selkirk College High School Volleyball Gold Medal

The L.V. Rogers Senior Bombers continue to prep for the post season after capturing the gold medal at the Selkirk College High School Girls Volleyball tournament this past weekend in Castlegar.
The Bombers bounced Selkirk of Kimberley in the best-of-three final, capturing the match in straight games — 25-15 and 25-20.
LVR advanced to the playoff round after completing the power pool round robin without a loss, beating Kimberley in front of the LVR student body, Mount Sentinel, Fernie and Osoyoos — all in two straight games.
The Bombers travel to the Bavarian City Friday to compete in the Selkirk Tournament Kimberley.
The tournament is the final event of the season for LVR, which travels to Trail for the West Kootenay AAA Zone playoff November 15.
The winner advances to the BC High School AAA Girls Volleyball Championships November 30-December 2 in Dawson Creek.
The Bombers, coached by Staci Proctor, includes, Amelia Finley, Lexi Elias, Megan Bonikowsky, Robyn Bunyan, Addison Mowery, Gia Davidson, Atlyn Proctor, Shuel, Cadence Schmidt, Paityn Lake, Livia Richardson and Viola Santi.
