Nelson Roads Kings team up to raise funds for KERPA
The Nelson Road Kings held a Classic Car Show recently at the Safeway in Nelson to raise money for Kootenay Emergency Response Physicians Association (KERPA).
Members of the Nelson Road Kings provided the vehicles for the public to check out while other supporters provided music and food.
KERPA is a Canadian Registered Charity, founded in 2016, with the goal of helping the most critically ill and injured patients in the Kootenay Region.
KERPA sends a volunteer EMS physician with a fully equipped with advanced medications and equipment in a dedicated ground unit, directly to the scene of immediate threat to life calls in the Kootenay region. In addition, the physician is trained in tactical emergency casualty care and equipped to support the emergency services in this role.

Rotary Day Break Club presented Dr. Nick Sparrow of KERPA with a cheque for $250.
