Nelson Air Cadets begin 71st training year

Nelson’s Air Cadet squadron will start it’s 71st training year on Wednesday, September 6th.

The squadron meets every Wednesday evening in the Nelson Eagles Hall at 641 Baker St from 6:15-9 p.m. There are also activities on select weekends throughout the year.

New cadets can register online at  or come to any training night in person. Cadets are between the ages of 12 and 18.

During year, the squadron will be giving the cadets unique experiences in aviation, leadership, and community service.

Over the past summer, cadets from the squadron attended summer training in Fruitvale, Quadra Island, BC and Greenwood, NS.

Adults who would like to volunteer with the squadron are also welcome.
