Mallard's Team of the Week — Nelson Selects U14 Soccer

The Nelson Soccer Association was shutout of medals at the recent BC Soccer Provincial B Championships in Kamloops and Langley.
The NSA saw no less than six teams, with the seventh being a regional squad consisting of local players, qualify for the provincial tournaments.
Mallard’s Source for sports would like to salute one of the teams that competed in Langley at the Les Sinnott Boys Memorial Tournament in Langley.
The Nelson Selects U14 squad finished sixth overall in the tournament, dropping its final contest to Okanagan Football Club of Kelowna.
The Selects defeated Kootenay South to advance to Langley.
The team, coached by Steve Willot and Amy Stewart, includes Kieran Mucham, Chris Marshall, Eli Knapp, Keagan Gaynor, Quin Clark, Kai Pelant, William Closs, Cypress Britten, Christian Makortoff, Gael Almeida, Jasper Marshall, Marshall Scanlon, Solomon Stewart, Hugo Muparutsa, Ben Price, Dawson Abraham, Liam Malpass, Teo Van Dishoeck, Sebastian Willot and Azlan Torres Pratt.
The team manager is Catherine McRae.
