Bomber Invitational tips off Friday at LVR Hangar

The L.V. Rogers Junior Bombers are hosting the third annual Bomber Invitational Boys Basketball Tournament this weekend at the Hangar.
The tournament is the first of the season for the Junior Bombers, which includes Stanley Humphries of Castlegar, Salmo, Mount Baker of Cranbrook, Nakusp, Grand Forks, J. Lloyd Crowe of Trail and Fernie.
The tournament tips off Friday at noon with the host Bombers meeting Stanley Humphries.
Salmo faces Mount Baker at 1:30 p.m. with Nakusp meeting Grand Forks and Crowe battling Fernie concluding the opening round of the tournament.
The tournament final is set for 4:30 p.m. Saturday with the consolation final tipping off at 3 p.m. Saturday.
