Mallard's Team of the Week — West Kootenay Senior Slopitch

The West Kootenay Senior Slopitch squad recently won the C-event division at the Salmo Canada Day Tournament.
The squad is gearing up to represent the region at the 2022 Canada 55-plus Games next month in Kamloops.
The lone loss for West Kootenay Senior Slopitch team came against the eventual Salmo Canada Day Champs.
Mallard’s Source for sports would like to salute the squad at Team of the Week and wish West Kootenay Senior Slopitch best of luck at the upcoming National Games.
The team includes, Barry Benner, Steve Cutts. Mike Roch, Joe Capriglione, Kevin Melanson, Edie St Arnaud, Loni D’Andrea, Lorne Wuori, Wayne Germaine, Luree Gould, Marian Shlakoff, John Mota, Janice Melanson and Chris Mota.
