Mallard's Team of the Week — Cold in the Koots Campaign

Mallard’s Source for sports agrees with also giving participants of the BC FreezinforaReason Cold in the Koots Campaign a Thumbs Up and Team of the Week accolades for a spirited fundraiser that netted the BC Special Olympics more than $10,000.
Recently, chiefs from Nelson Police Department, Nelson Fire and Rescue Services, Regional District of Central Kootenay and BC Paramedics took a cool jump into Kootenay Lake to raise funds for BC Special Olympics.
Mallard’s Source for sports would like to salute the group with Team of the Week.
The swimmers included, BC Paramedic Lindsay Eastwood, RDCK Regional Deputy Fire Chief Training Brent Scott, RDCK Regional Deputy Fire Chief Operations Kynan O’Rourke, retiring Nelson Police Department Chief Paul Burkart, RDCK Regional Fire Chief Nora Hannon, Nelson Fire & Rescue Chief Len MacCharles and Paramedic Chief, Deb Morris.
