NPD releases photos of suspect in theft at local thrift store

Nelson Police have released a photo of an alleged suspect believed to be involved in a break-and-enter at Positive Apparel Thrift Store in Nelson.

Nelson Police said the break in occurred during the early hours of Monday, November 30, 2020 at the 721 Front Street location.

“The suspect(s) stole a safe and a quantity of jewelry from the store,” Nelson Police said in a media release Sunday.

“A suspect arrived and left with a red folding cart.”

Nelson Police would like to identify this person of interest to further their criminal investigation.

Police said anyone with knowledge of the identity and location of this individual is asked to contact the lead investigator, Detective Constable Jason Anstey or Detective Constable Sarah Hannah at 250-354-3919.
