Mallard's Team of the Week — Kootenay Mixed Doubles Champs

Team Little/Small swept through the competition to capture the Kootenay Playdowns for Mixed Doubles Saturday at the Silver City Curling Club in Trail.
Kristina Little and Nathan Small defending their Kootenay Zone crown by defeating Desiree Borsato and Devo Devine in two straight games to advance to the BC Provincial Championships in Hope, from February 25 to March 1.
Team Little/Small won the opening game 6-5 before capturing the title with a 10-1 victory in six ends during game two.
In 2019, Team Little/Small finished just out of the playoffs at the Provincials with a 5-2 record.
Mallard’s Source for sports would like to salute Little and Small with Team of the Week.
Small will also be competing at the BC Men’s Curling Championships as a member of Team Brad Wood of Penticton January 28 to February 1 in Cranbrook.
