Sophie Richard scored three times to power Sutherland Financial to a 6-2 victory over Yom Chi Ninjas in Nelson Star Ladies Rec Soccer League Finals Sunday at the Lakeside Pitch.
The victory complete a sweep of League trophies as Sutherland Financial won the regular season crown with a 6-3-2 record, five points in front of the NBC Hooligans.
Melissa Nelson added a pair for Sutherland Financial while Gulia Marcoux added a single.
Yom Chi Ninjas finished third with Ww Wild Cats fourth.

Retallack defeated Jackson’s Hole 3-2 to clinch the Jackson’s Hole Masters Men’s Soccer Championship.
Retallack, finishing on top of the regular season with a 9-2-1 record, advanced to the final with a 5-1 win over Real Nelson.
Jackson’s Hole, finishing third in league standings, defeated Bia Bora to qualify for the final.
