Mallard's Team of the Week — Nelson Youth Soccer U10 Boys Rep

Nelson Youth Soccer Rep teams concluded the 2019 season with an amazing showing at the Kootenay South Eye of the Storm Tournament held recently in Castlegar.
Paced by the up-and-coming U10 Boy’s, NYS captured seven gold medals.
Other winners were U11 Boys, U12 Boys, U17 Boys, U12 Girls, U14 Girls and U17 Girls.
The U12 Boys, U17 Boys, U14 Girls and U17 Girls went undefeated during the tournament.
The U10 Boys came slow out the gates losing 6-1 to KSYSA Storm.
However, the squad rallied to win its next two games to earn a berth in the final before defeating KSYSA Storm 2-1 to claim the title.
Mallard’s Source for sports would like to salute all of the NYS teams, with U10 Boys claiming the top prize as Team of the Week.
The squad includes, coaches Tyler Rice and Amy Stewart and players Solomon Stewart, Hayden Rice, Marshall Scanlon, Olivier McLean, Ryker Rinas, Cooper Anast, River Marshall, Kieran Mucha, Sebastian Willott, Kai Pelant, Jaxon Slomba, Aztlan Torres Pratt, Cyprus Britten, Liam Malpass, Jasper Marshall, William Closs, Keagan Gaynor, Cassius Radonich-Camp and Christian Makortoff.
