Mallard's Team of the Week — Let's Crush MS

The Rear Guard squad has owned the West Kootenay MS Ride fundraising award, capturing the esteemed honour the past for four years.
However, this year, Let’s Crush MS gave them a real run for the money — in fact on a per capita basis, collected more dollars, with three riders versus four on The Rear Guard.
Which is why Let’s Crush MS was named winner of The Nelson Daily Team Award during last month’s West Kootenay MS Ride.
Both teams combined to raise more than $20,000 for MS Research.
Mallard’s Source for sports would like to salute both The Rear Guard and Let’s Crush MS with Team of the Week.
The team members include, The Rear Guard, Lorne Westnedge (Captain), Jim Noiles, Nancy Noiles and P’nina Shames, and Let’s Crush MS are Samantha Segal (Captain), Michelle Laurie and Garth Shubert.
