Mallards Team of the Week — Kootenay Chill Basketball Camp

Spring Break may be over for students, but not before more than 40 basketball players learned a little more about the game of hoops at the Kootenay Chill Spring Basketball Camp held at the L.V. Rogers Gymnasium.
Under the direction of former European Professional player Sean Denison, Kari Jackson, three-time CIS QUA Allstar with University of Windsor Lancers; Chase Rickaby, who toiled with Mount Royal Cougars and Matthew Fuhr, playing two seasons with SAIT Trojans of the Alberta Colleges Athletic Conference, the youth players worked on the finer points of the game.
Mallard’s Source for sports would like to salute the players with Team of the Week.
Kootenay Chill is hosting a Club Basketball Program during the spring.
Based in Nelson, this BasketballBC-sanctioned program offers opportunities for youth throughout the West Kootenay region to continue training and competing at an elite level throughout the Spring and Summer months.
