Mallard's Team of the Week — Nelson Peewee Leafs

Nelson Leafs rallied from a round-robin setback to capture the Greater Trail Minor Hockey Peewee House Tournament Sunday in Rossland.
The Leafs dumped Grand Forks 5-1 in the final to capture the tournament title.
Nelson opened with wins over Beaver Valley and West Kootenay Wildcats before stumbling badly against Grand Forks, losing 13-3 in the final round robin game.
However, after the round robin games were completed, the Leafs were slotted into second spot thanks to an upset earlier in the day.
Nelson then shutout first-place Spokane 6-0 before getting the better of Grand Forks in the rematch.

The Peewee Leafs include, coaches Jamie Tedesco and Dallas Wolbaum, players, Caleb Hanneson, Jack Boyes, Leif Poole, Levi Konken, Cohen Wolbaum, Cash Nay, Larson Proctor, Lucas Hanneson, Miller Tedesco, Jacob de Zwart, Sawan Bhabra, Kaleb Weller, Griffin Wanhella and Safety Brandon Weller.
