Mallard's Team of the Week — LVR Bombers Fieldhockey

The L.V. Rogers Bombers finished the Chilliwack High School Girl’s Fieldhockey tournament with an impressive 3-0-1 record.
The Bombers scored wins over Sardis (3-2), South Okanagan Hornets (3-0) and Agassiz (3-0). The lone blemish came in a 2-2 draw against Westview of Maple Ridge.
Goal scorers included Elle Schlegel, Skyla Short, Gioia Valk and Rylie Jordhal.
Keeper Johanna Brochhagen was solid between the pipes throughout the tourney as well as the defence of Emma Chirico, Nicola Anderson, Ryane Fulgin, and Ashleigh McLean.
Mallard’s Source for sports would like to salute the Bombers with Team of the Week honours.
The team includes Zoe Baxter, Rylied Jordahl,Gioia Valk, Elle Schlegel, Emma Chirico, Ella Peloso, Ashleigh McLean, Paris Miesner, Jessica McLeod, Nicola Anderson, Marisa Price, Rayne Fulgin, Skyla Short, Ariel Fulgin, keeper Johanna Brochhagen and Coach Bruce Walgren.
