Rookies close out season with Lions Park Minor Baseball Tournament

Lions Park in Nelson was a busy place Sunday as Nelson Baseball Association hosted the Rookie Championships at the diamond.
Teams from Nelson and Castlegar challenged each other for bragging rights in this windup tournament for the 2018 Minor Baseball season.
Teams from Nelson included the Nelson Blue Jays, Nelson Greyhounds and Nelson Reds.
This concludes the Minor Baseball season for most players. Some Nelson players will continue through part of the summer on regional teams.
