IH Chair and President tour Kootenay Lake Hospital

It's not every day the Board Chair and CEO/President pay a visit to the Kootenays.
Tuesday, Interior Health board chair Dr. Doug Cochrane and CEO/President Chris Mazurkewich joined local IH board director Pat Dooley for a visit to Kootenay Lake Hospital in Nelson.
The scheduled visit was part of a broader tour of the Kootenay Boundary, and gave the CEO and board members an opportunity to meet with local staff and physicians, KLH Foundation and auxiliary representatives.
As well Cochrane and Mazurkewich met with the Kootenay Boundary Division of Family Practice, local elected officials and community representatives to hear first hand about health care successes and challenges in Nelson and the Kootenay Boundary.
Castlegar, Trail, Grand Forks and Rock Creek were other communities included in the Kootenay Boundary visit.
