Second Annual Dance Educators’ Showcase Hits the Capitol Stage

The Nelson and District Arts Council is proud to present our second annual Dance Educators’ Showcase on Friday, November 17 th at 8pm at the Capitol Theatre!

This showcase will feature teachers and students from The Dance Umbrella, Front Street Dance, Slava Doval's Dancefusion, LVR Dance, Allegro Dance Theatre, Global Rhythms Showgirl Dance, the Brenda McJones Highland Dancers, Nelson School of Dance and Trillium School of Dance as well as other members of the dance community in Nelson.

This will truly be a showcase of the finest dancers that live in the Nelson and District.

All profits from the ticket sales of the dance showcase will be divided equally between the dance schools and the Arts Council. The funds will then be turned into bursaries at each school in the area to support dance students that might not otherwise be able to afford dance education. To compliment this event NDAC is also holding a silent auction.

The proceeds from the auction will go to benefit the Arts Council with it’s renewed focus on artist support.

All tickets are $21 and are available at online, in person at the box office at 421 Victoria Street, or by calling 250-352- 6363.
