Mallard's Team of the Week — LVR Bombers Field Hockey Team

The L.V. Rogers Bombers travel to Surrey this week to participate at the BC High School AA Girl’s Field Hockey Championships beginning Wednesday against Windsor of North Vancouver.
The Bombers have been training in the LVR Hangar to prepare for the speed of the water turf fields — the gym floor best simulates the speed of the ball on water turf.
Mallard’s Source for sports would like to salute the Bombers with Team of the Week honours.
The team includes, Ashley Hall, Paige Miesner, Hanna Quinn, Jessica McLeod, Faith Miesner, Zoe Baxter, Ella Peloso, Isable Curiston, Elissa Centrone, Heather Potkins, Julia Burkart, Coach Bruce Walgren; Front row L-R Sianna Morningstar, Pearl Velasik, Skyla Short, Marisa Price, Emma Chirico, Shianne Michalchuck and keepers Johanna Brochhagen and Rylee Zondervan.
LVR also plays Crofton House of Vancouver and North Delta before competing in the playoff round Thursday.
This will be the final tournament for seniors, Heather Potkins, Hanna Quinn, Julia Burkart, Shianne Michalchuck, Ashley Hall and Paige Meisner.
