Dairy Queen and BC Children’s Hospital invite Nelsonites to put the 'treat' in treatment on Miracle Treat Day

On Thursday, August 10, Dairy Queen fans in Nelson are encouraged to visit their local Dairy Queen to celebrate Miracle Treat Day.

Proceeds from every Blizzard Treat sold at the Nelson Dairy Queen will be donated to the BC Children’s HospitalFoundation, one of 14 Children’s Miracle Network member hospitals across Canada.

Every day, 4,900 children enter a Children’s Miracle Network member hospital for treatment.

The Nelson Dairy Queen location at 724 Nelson Avenue next to the Big Orange Bridge.

Since the partnership began in 1984, DQ has become a top contributor to Children’s Miracle Network, with over $125 million raised to-date in support of sick and injured children across North America.
