Kalien Day Hospice Program

The Kalien Day Hospice Program is hosting an open house Thursday, May 11 at the 402 West Richards Street location.
The Kalien Day Hospice Program is a weekly program offered in beautiful nature-connected environment to help thosse with terminal illness and their caregivers.
- There are a few different events planned for the day.
- Peer support and social connection – 10-10:30 a.m.
- Information sessions and activities – 10:30 a.m. to noon
- Nutritious meal and snacks – noon to 1 p.m.
- Variety of complementary therapies 1-3 p.m.
Eligible participants for Day Hospice:
- Have a terminal diagnosis (without symptoms of dementia)
- Can self-manage medications
- Can manage mobility with only one Care Aide.
