Spreading the festive sounds of the season — Hume Elementary School Choir

The Hume Elementary School Choir is back making the rounds this Christmas season, cheering up residents of local retirement homes with festive songs.
During the past week the Choir visited and sang at five different venues.
The Choir, under the direction of Lisa Backus, visited Lakeview Village, Broader Horizons, Mountain Lakes Assisted Living Centre and Jubilee Manor in Nelson.
Backus said the children spread joy into these elders’ lives through their beautiful singing.
The choir will be part of the annual Hume Elementary School Christmas Concert Thursday, December 15 at the Fairview based school.
Show times are 1 p.m. and 7 p.m.
