Expressions Theatre Café, RDCK bring Tragically Hip to Nelson

The Hip is coming to Nelson Saturday at Lakeside Ball Diamonds.
Well, almost.
Expressions Theatre Café and RDCK are joining together to bring the final concert for the Tragically Hip from Kingston, Ont, live via CBC-TV. The concert runs from 5:30-8:30 p.m.
In Nelson there are at least five venues that are presenting this free event, including:
- The Civic Movie Theatre – must be over 19
- Finley’s – minors must be accompanied by guardian or parent
- Mike’s Pub – must be over 19
- The Falls Music Lounge – minors must be accompanied by guardian or parent
- Outdoors at the Nelson Ball Diamonds – no age restriction
The Expressions Outdoor Show will likely have a poor image on the 20-foot screen until the sun sinks low enough in the sky – around 7 p.m.
However, the sound will be awesome right from the beginning.
