Nelson's Amelia Martzke presented with RE/MAX 2016 ‘Quest for Excellence’ bursary

Glen Darough, Broker Owner of RE/MAX RHC Realty in Nelson, is pleased to announce Amelia Martzke of the Heritage City is one of the sixteen students chosen from Western Canada to receive the RE/MAX 2016 ‘Quest for Excellence’ bursary valued at $1,000.
 
The annual RE/MAX Quest for Excellence program encourages graduating students from British Columbia, Alberta, Saskatchewan, Manitoba, Yukon and Northwest Territories to submit an essay detailing the contributions they have made to their communities.

The bursary winners have all demonstrated exceptional motivation, leadership, and communication skills.
 
“The 2016 recipients are a group of talented Grade 12 students whose actions have benefited each of their communities. It is inspiring to see such tremendous contributions at a young age,” said Marie Sheppy, Manager, Corporate Affairs, RE/MAX of Western Canada.

“They are setting great examples for others to follow in their footsteps” said Elton Ash, Regional Executive Vice President, RE/MAX of Western Canada.   

“RE/MAX is honoured to award this year’s Quest for Excellence Bursary Program winners. These high school students have shown incredible maturity by making a positive impact on their communities at an early age. We’re excited to see what the future brings for each of these young leaders.”
