Constable Alain Therrien joins Nelson Police Department
Nelson Police Department has added a new officers to its ranks with the arrival of Constable Alain Therrien to the Heritage City.
Therrien, Police Constable #85, was sworn in at the Nelson Courthouse by Provincial Court Judge Philip Seagram March 11.
Constable Therrien, joining the Department after serving the past four years with the Stl’atl’imx Tribal Police Service, replaces one of the three officers who have retired or resigned during the past six weeks.
Constable Therrien was born and raised in Saskatchewan and comes from a French/Metis background. His father comes from one of the original Metis settlements in Southern Saskatchewan.
