City crews busy building new children's swing at Lakeside Rotary Park

Recently the new greenhouse, destroyed by the July 2015 windstorm, was rebuilt by City of Nelson staff.
Now, the new swing set at Lakeside Rotary Park, also destroyed by the same freak windstorm, is a week or so away from being operational.
City of Nelson Public Works crews have been busy the past week building a new swing set at the Children’s Playground at Lakeside Rotary Park.
The posts and beams have been erected to prepare for the pouring of cement footings Monday.
Hopefully, by Easter Weekend, the new swing set will be ready for children testing.
