Suspects who drove off following test drive of vehicle apprehended by VPD

It may have taken more than a month by Nelson Police finally caught two suspects involved in a vehicle theft.
Nelson Police Department Sergeant Corey Hoy said the two suspects were located in Vancouver and taken into custody by Vancouver Police officers in late December.
“On December 28, 2015 the vehicle was located in Vancouver, BC and two suspects were taken into custody by the Vancouver Police Department,” Hoy said.
“Both are facing charges of theft and possession of stolen property.”
The incident began in the afternoon of December 15, 2015 when NPD received a call regarding a stolen vehicle.
Hoy said the complainant stated she met two people in Nelson via an online ad to purchase her vehicle.
However, the two individuals, after expressing interest to purchase said vehicle and wanting to take the vehicle for a test drive, departed but never returned.
