Mallard's Team of the Week — Nelson Cops for Kids Trio

Two BC Sheriffs along with a RCMP civilian represented the Heritage City in the recent Cop for Kids Ride that tour Southern Interior recently.
BC Sheriffs Mike Kosof, Rob Crowder and RCMP civilian Karen Armstrong braved saddle sores and tired muscles to join the 2015 Thomas Alan Budd Foundation Cops for Kids Ride Team.
Since 1995, Cops for Kids, Inc. has assisted children, seniors, and families that find themselves in unfortunate situations.
Through generous donations from local business sponsors and individuals in our community, Cops for Kids has enabled children and seniors to enjoy some of the basic necessities that were not available to them through other agencies.
Here in Nelson, the Cops for Kids ride received quite a boost when the organization was presented with a cheque for $3052 Cops for Kids On-going Bottle Drive.
