Mallard's Team of the Week — Nelson Italian Society Bocce Team

The Nelson Italian Society recently staged its annual Bocce tournament at Lakeside Rotary Park.
Competitors from throughout the Kootenays, and Italy, flocked to Nelson to play in the prestigious event, with the Nelson/Italy team of Vito Tumillo and Vincenzo Rendini taking home the top prize.
Cranbrook’s Vince Toteda and Joe Sacino won the B event.
Mallard’s Source for sports would like to salute the participants with Team of the Week honours.
The competitors included, Marcello Piro, Dominic Cerone, Vito Tumillo Luca, Len Maida, Carmine Richichi, Michelle March, Giuseppe Bertuzzi, Joe Sacino, Vincenzo Rendina, Alphonso Bertoia, Fred Tironese, Nick Murano, segio Peloso, Joe Guuercio, Jayden Maida, Gino Maida, Mario Arcovio, Vince DeVito, Len Arabia, Fortunato Giovolluci, Vince Toteda and Giudo Babiun.
