Even playing shorthanded, the Nelson U18 Selects turned in a magnificent performance at the Bill Eisenwinter Hot Shot Tournament in Coeur d Alene, Idaho.
The squad finished third, narrowly missing out on a chance to play for all the marbles in the tournament final.
Mallard’s Source for sports want to tip the hat to the boys with Team of the Week honours.
The team includes,Lucas Spielman, Andrew Knapik, Nigel Ziegler, Darian Johnson, John Dmitri Johnson, coach Dan Szabo, Spencer Szabo, Bryce Twible, Owen Thurston, Jake Anderson, Theo Bakas, Dylan Bennett, Nolan DeRosa and Nolan Percival.
