The first annual Kootenay Spirit Festival was held last year.  A small group of community members (all volunteers)  for over a year to plan and schedule this amazing event.

Our mission was to celebrate all of the amazing yoga, dance, music and meditation that takes place here in the beautiful Kootenays.

A home grown festival celebrates the spirit of this special and diverse community. One of our special missions was to make this Festival accessible to all, We offered free yoga and music at Lakeside which was a success in numbers and in Spirit! In order to build upon the success – it is important that we hold fundraisers which we hope will also benefit the community.
